Pet-Agree Grooming Supplies Policies
(aka “The Stuff Our Lawyers Made Us Say… but we tried to make it friendly.”)
Freight & Shipping Policy (Contiguous U.S. Only)
Free standard shipping:
We utilize UPS, Amazon and USPS for ground shipments.
- We pay standard ground freight on merchandise orders over $99 (subtotal after discounts; excluding taxes, surcharges, and fees).
- We also pay standard freight on Pet-Agroom equipment, dryers, tubs, tables, and cages, shipped via standard ground or commercial LTL (as applicable).
What “free shipping” means (and what it doesn’t):
Free shipping covers the basic transportation charge. If your delivery needs extra “special handling sprinkles,” carriers charge extra—and we must pass that along. Common extras include:
- Residential delivery
- Lift-gate service
- Inside delivery
- Appointment delivery / notification calls
- Other carrier accessorials, re-delivery fees, storage, and special handling
(Translation: if the driver needs more time, more equipment, or more steps, it costs more.)
Shipping method:
- Carrier and shipping method are selected at our discretion unless the customer pays for an upgraded service. If you request UPS over Amazon, you may be responsible for the higher shipping cost.
Signature confirmation:
- Signature confirmation is not included with free shipping. If you’d like signature confirmation, please request it (additional fees may apply).
Expedited shipping:
- Expedited services (like Next Day, 2-Day, or 3-Day) may be available, but they do not qualify for free/flat-rate shipping. Customer pays all expedited costs.
(Speed costs money. We don’t make the rules… okay, sometimes we do, but not these.)
Exclusions (because there’s always an exclusions list):
Free freight does not apply to certain items or situations, including but not limited to:
- Drop shipments (items shipping directly from a manufacturer/vendor)
- Service/repair work (e.g., dryer repair, sharpening, clipper repair)
- Certain C.O.D. and special carrier surcharges
- Orders shipped outside the contiguous U.S.
How thresholds & split shipments work:
- The free-freight threshold is based on the order subtotal (after discounts, before tax/fees).
- If your order ships in multiple boxes or shipments, carrier rules and accessorials may apply per shipment.
Please inspect fast (future-you will thank you):
- Inspect shipments within 24 hours of delivery and report missing items, wrong items, or visible damage immediately. Late reports may prevent us from recovering charges or filing claims with the carrier.
“Delivered” but missing (the porch-pirate clause):
- If tracking shows Delivered but you can’t locate the package, you must notify the carrier and Pet-Agree within 48 hours (so we can actually do something while the trail is warm). Replacement/refund is not guaranteed and may depend on the carrier’s investigation and available documentation.
Refused or undeliverable shipments:
- If a shipment is refused, returned to sender, or undeliverable due to access issues, scheduling failures, or delivery restrictions, the customer is responsible for any carrier return freight, storage, re-delivery, or additional handling fees.
Address accuracy:
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Address corrections and re-delivery fees (if charged by the carrier) are the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping delays (the part we wish we could control):
Weather, carrier disruptions, supply chain hiccups, and other events outside our control can cause delays. We’ll help however we can, but we can’t personally race the truck to your shop (as fun as that sounds).
Payment Terms
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, and bank debit cards.
(No e-checks. Our accountant asked us to stop living dangerously.)
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied where required by law. (The government also enjoys fine print.)
Damaged Merchandise (Transit Damage)
If your shipment arrives looking like it sparred with a forklift:
- Save all packaging and product (do not throw anything away).
- If possible, note damage on the delivery receipt/BOL/manifest at delivery.
- Take photos of the box, packing materials, and damage.
- Contact Pet-Agree immediately.
Carriers may require inspection and documentation. If damage isn’t properly documented, replacement/refund may be limited by the carrier’s rules. (Yes, it’s annoying. Yes, it’s real.)
Returns & Defective Items
(We’re friendly, not chaotic. Let’s do this the organized way.)
Standard Returns (Unopened / Unused)
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unopened or unused merchandise in original packaging, complete, and in resalable condition.
- Customer pays return shipping for standard returns.
- A Return Authorization (RA) is required before returning items. Returns without an RA may be refused.
- Customer is responsible for ensuring returns arrive undamaged. We strongly recommend tracking and insurance.
- Returns received damaged due to insufficient packaging, or have missing items may be refused or credited at a reduced value.
(Surprise packages are great on birthdays. Less great at receiving docks.)
Important note about “free shipping” orders and returns:
- If an order qualified for free shipping and returns reduce the kept merchandise total below the free-shipping threshold, we may deduct the original outbound shipping cost from the refund/credit.
Defective Items
If an item is defective:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request an RA.
- We will provide a return label for the defective item.
- Once the defective item is received and verified, we will replace it or refund it.
Non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns for:
- Opened liquids/chemicals, used items, or items not in resalable condition
- Items missing original packaging/components
Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders may be changed or canceled only before fulfillment. Once an order ships, it is subject to the policies above (including standard returns where applicable).
(Once it’s on the truck, it’s living its best life.)
Pricing Policies
(Prices change. We don’t love it either.)
- Prices, availability, specifications, colors, and freight charges are subject to change without notice due to manufacturer increases, fuel, tariffs, freight markets, and other costs.
- We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misprints in catalogs, online listings, or advertisements.
- We reserve the right to correct typographical and pricing errors.
Pricing errors & orders (“the lawyers made us say this”):
If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, we may (at our discretion) cancel the order and refund, or contact you for approval before shipping.
Low Price Match Policy (Authorized Distributors Only)
We’ll match or beat a currently active advertised price from an authorized distributor on an identical product we carry, provided:
- The competitor’s item is in stock and available for immediate shipment at the advertised price.
- You provide the ad showing competitor name, item, price, and effective date (screenshots are fine).
- The competitor is an authorized seller for that brand/product.
- Shipping policies are equivalent, or we compare total delivered cost.
Price match rules (aka “no coupon gymnastics”):
- Price matches cannot be combined with promo codes, bundles, free gifts, rebates, loyalty offers, or other promotions.
- Price match applies to item price only and excludes taxes, shipping, surcharges, and fees.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities and to decline price matches that appear to be errors, closeouts, or not reasonably available.
Exclusions: clearance, discontinued items, distributor-exclusive specials, marketplace/third-party sellers (including Amazon, eBay, Chewy), and pricing restricted by manufacturer MAP policies (if applicable).
Promotions & Discount Codes
(Because the internet is… the internet.)
- Valid promotions and discount codes will appear on our website, catalog, official social channels, or come directly from Pet-Agree.
- We do not honor discount codes from third-party coupon sites.
- Unless explicitly stated, promo codes cannot be stacked (we see you).
Warranty & Product Use
- Some products may be covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage and claims are subject to the manufacturer’s terms, and some warranty claims may be handled directly by the manufacturer.
- Our products are intended for professional/commercial use. Customers are responsible for proper use, training, maintenance, and compliance with applicable safety requirements.
(Please do not use grooming tools for home construction. We shouldn’t have to say that, but… here we are.)
Fraud Prevention / Order Verification
(We like you. We just also like not getting chargebacks.)
We reserve the right to hold, cancel, or request additional verification for orders flagged for potential fraud or unusual activity.
Privacy & Marketing Policy
(We protect your info. We also occasionally talk to you. You’re in charge.)
- We collect personal information only as needed to process orders, provide service, prevent fraud, and support customer care.
- We retain information only as long as necessary and protect it using commercially reasonable safeguards.
- We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers (payment processors, shipping carriers, email/SMS providers, fraud prevention tools) only as needed to operate our business, fulfill orders, and comply with law.
Communications & consent:
By providing a phone number, mobile number, email address, or other contact method, you agree we may contact you about orders, delivery updates, customer service, and marketing messages. Message/data rates may apply and are the customer’s responsibility. You may opt out of marketing communications anytime by emailing info@petagree.com.
The Big Legal Catch-All
(Last section. You’re so close.)
Policy changes: We reserve the right to change shipping policies, pricing, and these terms at any time without notice.
Force majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (weather, carrier disruptions, supply constraints, labor issues, acts of God, etc.).
Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet-Agree is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits or business interruption).
Risk of loss / carrier rules: Carrier documentation and deadlines apply. We will assist with claims when possible, but claims may be limited or denied if carrier requirements are not met, if delivery is confirmed, or if required documentation is missing.
Governing law / venue: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any disputes will be handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless otherwise required by law.
